Days One and Two — Arrive in Pennsylvania’s Penn Dutch Country We head to Ohio for our first overnight and a welcome dinner hosted by your Tour Manager. Traveling across Pennsylvania’s rich farmland we come to the heart of Penn Dutch Country. After checking in to our hotel, our reserved tables await at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, which features award-winning food, exceptional service and top quality live productions. 2 Dinners and breakfast Day Three — Amish Country Touring and Shopping Today a local guide joins us for a guided tour though beautiful Penn Dutch country. Experience the pure country spirit of the Amish by visiting a replica of an “Old Order” Amish homestead – a working farm complete with crops and live animals. Lunch today is at Plain and Fancy Restaurant, for a hearty meal served family style. A visit to Bird-in-Hand allows us a shopping opportunity like no other. Small town gift shops, the farmers market and the Old Village Store will take you back 100 years. Breakfast and lunch Day Four — Historic Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Today we make a stop in the historic Moravian town of Bethlehem. Here, a costumed guide joins us for a leisurely walking tour to learn the story of Bethlehem’s unique beginnings in 1741. We’ll see exquisite examples of Victorian and Colonial architecture, including two National Historic Landmarks and the 1758 Nain-Schober House. We continue to one of America’s most exciting and vibrant cities, New York. You’ll spend the next three nights just moments away from glittering New York, “the city that never sleeps.” Feel the pulse of this magnificent city. Breakfast Day Five — Ellis Island and The National September 11 Memorial and Museum We sail across New York Harbor to visit Ellis Island and see the Statue of Liberty. This precious American monument symbolizes the ideals established by the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Ellis Island, once a major entry point for millions during the 19th and 20th centuries, now houses a museum honoring the ethnic diversity of our immigrant forefathers. Fascinating exhibits, including the Registry Room, and Through America’s Gate, all illustrate the path followed by the more than 16 million immigrants. This afternoon we pay a stirring visit to the National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center. Here, tribute is paid to those who were killed and to those whose heroics brought the nation together. For dinner, we head to Rockefeller Center. Breakfast and dinner Day Six — New York’s “Top of the Rock” and Broadway Show Today a local guide joins us to see New York City landmarks including Times Square, Chinatown and Rockefeller Center. We enjoy a fabulous included lunch today before being whisked away to the observation deck of the Rockefeller Center. This breathtaking, panoramic view of the city from the “Top of The Rock” was John D. Rockefeller’s gift to Manhattan where you can now marvel at the city that he loved. Tonight, we have reserved seats to a top Broadway show. Breakfast and lunch Days Seven and Eight — Travel Home We travel to Ohio for a final overnight and dinner hosted by our Tour Manager. 2 Breakfasts and dinner
