  1. Travel to Pennsylvania
    Travel to Pennsylvania today as we begin our Star-Spangled Sailabration commemorating the War of 1812 Bicentennial complete with Tall Ships from around the world. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with your new traveling companions. (Dinner)

  1. Erie's War of 1812 Nautical History
    We first learn of Lake Erie's importance in the War of 1812 at the Erie Maritime Museum. Here, we travel through time and learn about the people and the events surrounding the lake up to the present day. When she is in homeport, the Flagship Niagara is berthed within yards of the museum and is visible from the bayside picture window. In the afternoon, we climb aboard the Victorian Princess for a leisurely sightseeing cruise through Presque Isle Bay and Lake Erie. We sail around Presque Isle State Park for wonderful views of Erie, the Perry Monument and Presque Isle Lighthouse. (Breakfast)

  1. Arrive in Baltimore
    Today we travel across the Keystone state of Pennsylvania en route to our hotel located on Baltimore's Inner Harbor. (Breakfast and dinner)

  1. U.S.Naval Academy
    and Star-Spangled Banner Flag House The day begins with a short drive to nearby Annapolis. Here we embark on a guided walking tour of U.S. Naval Academy. Learn about the history, architecture and traditions of the Academy as well as particulars on midshipman life. At the Star-Spangled Banner Flag House you'll meet "Mary Pickersgill," the spirited woman who made the American flag which flew over Fort McHenry and inspired France Scott Key to write his immortal words. We then gather for the Sailabration's Welcome Ceremony before being treated to a fabulous Flag Day Fireworks display which will set the evening sky aglow. (Breakfast)

  1. Tall Ships Celebration and Fort McHenry
    As Baltimore's Inner Harbor fills with over two dozen Tall Ships from around the world, we are invited to climb aboard three different vessels for a visit and marvel at these nautical wonders. Later, we visit the star-shaped Fort McHenry. During the War of 1812, the fort was best known for successfully defending Baltimore Harbor against a British attack. The bombardment was so fierce that Frances Scott Key was inspired to write the Star-Spangled Banner when he saw the American flag emerge intact after the attack. Tonight, we board the Spirit of Baltimore for an exciting and festive evening dinner cruise on Baltimore's beautiful Inner Harbor. Vibrant cityscape views, a bountiful buffet and lively entertainment make for a memorable evening. (Breakfast and dinner)

  1. Dinner Cruise aboard the Nautica Queen
    Today we leave the hustle and bustle of Baltimore, and head to the quiet beauty of the Laurel Highlands in southwestern Pennsylvania. We make a stop at the Flight 93 Memorial before following the Lincoln Highway through the quaint town of Ligonier with its antique stores and specialty shops. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner cruise aboard the Nautica Queen, Cleveland's luxury vessel on Lake Erie and the Cuyahoga River. (Breakfast and dinner)

    Traveling back home, we arrive in the early evening with wonderful memories of our Star-Spangled journey. (Breakfast)
