Today, a local guide joins us for a narrated tour of Montreal. We see Old Montreal, dating from the 18th-century, Notre Dame Basilica, St. Joseph Oratory, the site of the 1976 Olympics, and enjoy a panoramic vista of the city from Mount Royal. (Breakfast and dinner)

Day Four – Montreal to Quebec City
Leaving Montreal this morning, we travel to the walled city of Quebec, the capital of French Canada. A local guide joins us for a tour through this beautiful city with its narrow streets filled with quaint shops and European architecture. Later, we board our ship, the MSC Poesia, for an amazing 7-day cruise through maritime Canada and New England. (Breakfast and dinner)

Day Five – Day at Sea
Today we cruise the St. Lawrence Seaway, navigating the same waters that were used by the early settlers and fur traders who came to this land over two hundred years ago. The MSC Poesia features fine and casual dining, complimentary 24-hour stateroom service, a full casino, three swimming pools and dozens of fun activities.
(All meals on board)

Day Six – Sydney, Nova Scotia
Located on beautiful Cape Breton Island, Sydney is in easy reach of the famous Cabot Trail. An optional excursion here could take you to the Fortress of Louisbourg, a meticulously restored 1744 fort featuring period-costumed interpreters portraying historic characters. (All meals on board)

Day Seven – Get to Know the MSC Poesia
We enjoy another day at sea, which is a great opportunity to get to know your ship. The pride of the MSC fleet, the Poesia offers an exotic haven of tranquility and combines elegance with excitement. This evening, why not see a fantastic Vegas-style show or dance the night away under the stars. (All meals on board)

Day Eight – Bar Harbor, Maine
Charming cobblestone streets and quaint storefronts make Bar Harbor a delightful New England vacation destination. Acadia National Park, just a short drive from downtown Bar Harbor, offers a spectacular display of nature at its finest. Rocky cliffs and jagged coastline open to beautiful ocean views and stony beaches. (All meals on board)

Day Nine – Boston, Massachusetts
Boston, "America's Walking City" and home of the original tea party, is a beautiful city full of historic sites. With Bunker Hill and the U.S.S. Constitution, Boston has some of the most well preserved historic buildings in the country. Optional shore excursions include a Freedom Trail walking tour, a trip to Salem and the Witch Museum and even the John F. Kennedy Library. (All meals on board)
