Day One – Our Journey Begins
We’re off on an Atlantic Coast musical adventure! We overnight in Kentucky and are treated to a welcome dinner hosted by your Tour Manager. (Dinner)

Day Two – Lexington to Columbia
Depart the Bluegrass State this morning and travel through the Volunteer State of Tennessee as we continue to South Carolina’s state capital, Columbia. (Breakfast)

Day Three – Welcome to the Grand Strand!
Each year, the Grand Strand beckons travelers with its 60 miles of beautiful beaches along the Atlantic, fabulous shopping and top-notch entertainment. Until the 1900s, only struggling farmers and fishermen inhabited the beaches. Now, vacationers from all over the world come here. Our oceanfront hotel is home for the next three nights. This evening, we enjoy dinner at one of Myrtle Beach’s fabulous seafood restaurants featuring crab legs and prime rib! Then, sit back, relax and see why Myrtle Beach is known for its fantastic entertainment at one of the area’s top shows! (Breakfast and dinner)

Day Four – Myrtle Beach Entertainment
Begin this morning with a leisurely stroll along the beach. Watch for the many dolphins and porpoises that call the region home. Can you tell the difference? You have free time this morning and your Tour Manager can make suggestions for what to do. There are many options including Barefoot Landing and Broadway on the Beach for shopping, Brookgreen Gardens, golfing or simply relaxing by the beach. Later today, we take in another show from Myrtle Beach’s vast repertoire featuring toe-tapping, jaw-dropping excitement. (Breakfast and dinner)

Day Five – Wilmington, North Carolina
This morning we depart for North Carolina’s port city of Wilmington, part of what’s referred to as the Cape Fear Coast. Rich in history and folklore, a local guide will bring the area to life as its enchanted shores echo with voices of the past when explorers, pirates, rice planters and seafarers arrived from faraway lands. Many are surprised to learn that Wilmington is affectionately called “Hollywood East” as it is one of the nation’s top locations for film production.

TV shows such as Matlock and Dawson’s Creek were filmed here and the popular One Tree Hill is currently in production. Later, we board the Henrietta III for a narrated riverboat lunch cruise as we hear about the haunts and secrets the Cape Fear River has to share. Tonight, we are treated to another of Myrtle Beach’s best shows. (Breakfast and lunch)

Day Six – Cherokee, North Carolina
We bid farewell to the Atlantic coast this morning and travel to Cherokee, North Carolina, in the heart of the Smoky Mountains and the enchanted homeland of the Cherokee Indians. We follow a portion of the historic Blue Ridge Parkway (weather permitting) with its beautiful scenery. In Cherokee, we visit Harrah’s Casino and try our luck with 2700 video gambling games and over 60,000 square feet of casino space. You’ll have free time to play your favorite games after checking into our hotel. (Breakfast)

Day Seven – The Great Smoky Mountains
We continue our journey today through the Smoky Mountains National Park. The Cherokee people called the area Shaconage, or “Place of Blue Smoke.” The bluish mist, which clings to the mountainsides and fills the valleys, gives the park its name and remains its most distinctive feature. We visit the park’s Visitors Center to learn more about the area’s many natural wonders.
(Breakfast and dinner)

Day Eight – Homeward Bound
We continue home today with wonderful memories of our tour to Myrtle Beach and the Cape Fear Coast. (Breakfast)
