Naples, Italy: Home of the Original Pizza Pie
The third biggest city in Italy, Naples is a lively and vibrant
port, full of fascinating history, artistic treasures and narrow,
winding streets. Visit the Spaccanapoli, mainly a pedestrian
zone, with its many churches, buildings and shops, the 13th-century
Gothic cathedral and the oldest castle in Naples. It also includes
a 4th century basilica (the oldest church in Naples), a baptistry,
and Renaissance crypt. This is the city where pizza was born,
so make sure you taste the world’s best pizza, baked in
wood-burning ovens and accompanied by a glass of the local vino.
Nearby are the well preserved ashen Roman ruins of Pompeii excavated
from the volcanic fury of Mount Vesuvius.
Livorno (Pisa and Florence)
Livorno, in the Tuscan region of Italy, is regarded as the gateway
to some of the most beautiful cities in Italy such as Florence
and Pisa. Florence's rich and prosperous history, particularly
under the rule of the Medicis, has given it a favored place
in the annals of art and literature. Giotta, Piero della Francesca,
Dante and Donatello all lived in Florence, and it was here that
Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael--launched important
phases of their careers. On an optional excursion see the Uffizi
Gallery, the most celebrated art museum in all of Italy as well
as impressive piazzas and an incomparable 15th-century skyline.
Nearby Pisa, first settled by the Romans in 180BC is today known
for the prized attractions of the Piazza del Duomo which features
the famed Leaning Tower and the Romanesque Duomo cathedral built
in the shape of a cross, capped by an elliptical dome over its
intersection. Restored in the 16th century, the building is
decorated in white and colored marble.
Monte Carlo, Monaco
Monte Carlo is one of the most magical, glamorous places in
the world, reigned by the monarchial family for more than seven
centuries. This perfect little paradise is known for its glittering

and as the vacation hotspot for the international jet set.
Valencia, Spain

a chance to visit Renaissance cathedrals, walk along the old
stone bridges and stop in the Barrio del Carmen. Try Spain’s
most famous cuisine Paella, which originated in Valencia with
its delectable combination of rice, seafood and vegetables.
Ibiza, Balearic Islands
Ibiza, the White Island, is one of Spain’s most charming
and unspoiled islands of the Balearic Islands. The island is
steeped in history, having been invaded by many different civilizations,
each leaving their mark. The charming town and harbor of Ibiza
today attracts the rich and famous and retains an historical
ambience with its steep, cobbled streets, leading to a cathedral
and fortress.
Tunis, Tunisia - Africa
Tunis, capital city of Tunisia, has a history dating back to
the 2nd century BC. The ruins of Carthage are nearby as is the
Bardo Museum offering a collection of Roman mosaics and other
antiquities. But what you’ll want to visit is the lively
souk (marketplace) where you can buy handicrafts of gold, bronze
and olive wood as well as watch the artisans weave brightly-colored
fabric with hand looms.
Catania - “Milan of the South”
The second-largest city in Sicily, Catania sits in the shadow
of Europe's highest volcano, Mount Etna, on the east of Sicily
between Syracuse and Taormina. Founded in 729 BC, Catania boasts
