Day One — Arrive in Utah
Begin your Solar Eclipse adventure as you gather in Salt Lake City, Utah. Meet your Tour Manager in the lobby at 6:00 p.m. for a welcome dinner.
Day Two — Shoshone Falls and Hell’s Half Acre Lava Trail System
This morning we make a stop at spectacular Shoshone Falls, known as the “Niagara of the West.” With a 212 foot drop and a width of 900 feet, it is one of the largest natural waterfalls in the country. Then we stop at Hell’s Half Acre Lava Trail System. The contorted landscapes were created from multiple Hawaiian-type lava flows, the result of intense volcanic activity more than 2,000 years ago.

Day Three — Museum of Idaho and Cody Nite Rodeo
This morning we visit the Museum of Idaho which documents the history of the Gem State and its first white explorers, Lewis and Clark in 1805-06. Then, we cross through Yellowstone National Park en route to Cody, Wyoming. Tonight, we enjoy reserved seats to the fabulous Cody Nite Rodeo.
Day Four — Yellowstone National Park
A local guide shows us Yellowstone, the world’s first national park, featuring renowned geysers and thermal basins. See the awesome 1,200-foot-deep Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, including views from Inspiration and Lookout Points. Travel through Sylvan Pass at 8,500 feet and along the shore of Yellowstone Lake. Also, we see Norris Geyser Basin, filled with an incredible variety of steam vents, mud pots, geysers, and hot springs.

Day Five — Grand Teton National Park and Old Faithful
In Yellowstone National Park, we'll head for storied Old Faithful Geyser, named for its regular eruptions about every 80 to 90 minutes for some 150 years before traveling along the Rockefeller Memorial Parkway into Grand Teton National Park. Pass Jackson and Jenny Lakes while enjoying splendid views of the rugged, towering Tetons along the way. Later we arrive in Jackson Hole. With its wooden boardwalks and unique antler-horn arches, downtown Jackson brings the Old West to life.
Day Six — Solar Eclipse Day
Today we are taken to a specially-selected location to view one of the earth’s great wonders, a total solar eclipse. Special eyewear will be provided for this one-in-a-lifetime event. Afterward, enjoy free time in Jackson for shopping in this historic Old West town.

Day Seven — National Oregon/California Trail Center and Jackson Hole
Leaving Jackson, we stop at the National Oregon/California Trail Center for a look at the wagon train of the 1850s. Visit the gun shop and mercantile or maybe take a ride in a covered wagon. Step back in time on a panoramic tour of Salt Lake City’s historic Temple Square, where Mormon settlers who founded this city more than 150 years ago once walked.

Day Eight — Travel Home
After breakfast transfer to the Salt Lake City International airport for flights home anytime today.
