Day One — Arrive in Utah
Begin your Solar Eclipse adventure as you gather in Salt Lake City, Utah. Meet your Tour Manager in the lobby at 6:00 p.m. for a welcome dinner.
Day Two — National Oregon/California Trail Center and Jackson Hole
Step back in time on a panoramic tour of Salt Lake City’s historic Temple Square, where Mormon settlers who founded this city more than 150 years ago once walked. Then, we stop at the National Oregon/California Trail Center for a look at the wagon train of the 1850s. Visit the gun shop and mercantile or maybe take a ride in a covered wagon. Later we arrive in Jackson Hole. With its wooden boardwalks and unique antler-horn arches, downtown Jackson brings the Old West to life.

Day Three — Solar Eclipse Day
Today we are taken to a specially-selected location to view one of the earth’s great wonders, a total solar eclipse. Special eye-wear will be provided for this once-in-a-lifetime event. Afterward, enjoy free time in Jackson for shopping in this historic Old West town.

Day Four — Grand Teton National Park and Old Faithful
We travel Rockefeller Memorial Parkway into Grand Teton National Park, past Jackson and Jenny Lakes, while enjoying splendid views of the rugged, towering Tetons along the way. In Yellowstone National Park, we'll head for storied Old Faithful Geyser, named for its regular eruptions about every 80 to 90 minutes for some 150 years before heading to West Yellowstone, Montana, our home for the next two nights.
Day Five — Full Day in Yellowstone National Park
Today we tour Yellowstone, the world’s first national park, featuring renowned geysers and thermal basins. See the awesome 1,200-foot-deep Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, including views from Inspiration and Lookout Points. Travel through Dunraven Pass and Tower Junction to the terraced formations of Mammoth Hot Springs. Also, we see Norris Geyser Basin, filled with an incredible variety of steam vents, mud pots, geysers, and hot springs.

Day Six — Museum of Idaho and Craters of the Moon National Monument
This morning we visit the Museum of Idaho which documents the history of the Gem State and its first white explorers, Lewis and Clark in 1805-06. At Craters of the Moon National Monument we see some of the nation’s most awe-inspiring lava fields, craters, cinder cones and lava tubes, the result of intense volcanic activity more than 2,000 years ago.
Day Seven — Shoshone Falls and Bonneville Salt Flats
This morning we make a stop at spectacular Shoshone Falls, known as the “Niagara of the West.” With a 212 foot drop and a width of 900 feet, it is one of the largest natural waterfalls in the country. Later, we stop at the Bonneville Salt Flats lookout for a panoramic view of this incredible natural wonder.

After breakfast transfer to the Salt Lake City International Airport for flights home anytime today.
